We are just awaiting our Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay to be labelled, later this week,  and then we’ll put them, alongside the 2014 Solaris and Bacchus onto the online shop for sale.

A competitive showing this year at the 2015 awards with over 70 East Anglia wines entered and Humbleyard were up amongst the winners!  Considering the wonderful harvest in 2014, it was perhaps surprising that there were only half the amount of medals awarded for the 2014 vintage as there were in 2013, with only one gold and a handful of silvers.  Humbleyard Bacchus picked up one of only 6 silvers, and the Solaris was awarded a bronze.  The nationals next…!

Pleased to report that the first of the 2014 wines are on sale in the shop from mid May.  The 2014 Solaris, a lovely dry white to rival the Bacchus.  Our 2014 Bacchus really is exceptional, and we’re looking forward to see how it gets on in the regional and national competition, in a year which the quality will be high due to the great harvest of 2014.  We’ll have our white Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Reichensteiner back in June, along with the Rose.  Red and sparkling later in the summer!

Its time to start tying down the vines as the buds think of bursting, fingers crossed the sharp frosts stay away!

Well a bumper year as expected!  At over three and half tonnes an acre the cropping exceeded expectations, and we’ll have a great selection of wines from the 2014 vintage.

A sparkling white and rose from the celebrated Pinot and Chardonnay varieties.

From our Cabernet Cortis, a light summer red, and a bigger red on oak (to be seen in 2016).

Our award winning Bacchus and Rose wines will make a return.

Three new white wines: a still Chardonnay, a still Sauvignon Blanc, and a still Solaris.

All very exciting!
